Crunch Fitness is now accepting applications for a qualified Accounting Clerk/AP to join our fast-growing team!

What we look for in an Accounting Clerk: 

• High School diploma or equivalency required
• Familiarity with bookkeeping and accounting procedures
• Proven accounting experience, preferably as an Accounts Payable Clerk
• Efficient and effective communication skills
• Previous experience with administrative duties in an office setting is preferred
• Competency in Microsoft Office, Excel and Quickbooks accounting software
• Hands-on experience with spreadsheets and financial reports
• Aptitude for numbers
• Accuracy and a high attention to detail
• Ability to perform filing and record keeping tasks
• Data entry and word processing skills
• Well organized
• Associates degree or relevant certifications is a plus

Summary of Responsibilities:

• Provide accounting and clerical support to the accounting department.
• Type accurately, prepare and maintain accounting documents and records.
• Prepare bank deposits, general ledger postings and statements.
• Reconcile accounts in a timely manner.
• Daily enter key data of financial transactions in database
• Provide assistance and support to company personnel.
• Research, track and restore accounting or documentation problems and discrepancies.
• Inform management and compile reports/summaries on activity areas.
• Function in accordance with established standards, procedures and applicable laws.
• Process and manage accounts payable data entry, check producing and purchasing controls.
• Process and review inventory
• Constantly update job knowledge
